Ingevity Scholarship

Ingevity is pleased to announce the continuation of our Leader Scholarship Program. Our goal is to build our community by providing resources and encouragement to graduating seniors. Our hope is that they learn valuable skills and gain knowledge to not only support themselves and their community, but also to protect and enhance our world.   

    

This year, we are offering five (5) $2,000 Scholarships to local area high school seniors.    

    

Available Scholarships:   

Trade School (1)   

STEM Major (1)   

General Merit (2)   

Employee Child (1)   

    

Eligibility Requirements:   

  • Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher at term ended December 2022

  • Must attend higher education institute – trade school, community college, traditional 4 year university – and have the acceptance letter   

    

Eligible Schools:   

Burke County High School, Edmund Burke Academy, Faith Christian Academy, T.W. Josey High School, Cross Creek High School, Evans High School, Grovetown High School, Harlem High School, Jefferson County High School, Thomas Jefferson Academy, Lucy C Laney   

    

Required Documents:   

  • Transcript as of December 2022 in PDF   

  • Acceptance letter from school in PDF (A PDF copy of an email is acceptable)

High School Scheduling at OPEN HOUSE

HIGH SCHOOL SCHEDULING MEETINGS

 

will be held during OPEN HOUSE on Monday, March 9!

 

 

Parents of rising 9th and 10th graders are encouraged to attend a meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the library. We will discuss high school requirements, Georgia Virtual School opportunities, and the HOPE scholarship. Parents and students may pick up their personalized schedule template at this time.

 

Parents of rising 11th and 12th grade students should attend a scheduling meeting at 7:30 in the library. Parents and students may pick up their personalized schedules at this time.

 

The parent of any student who is interested in participating in DUAL ENROLLMENT with Augusta Technical College, East Georgia State University, or Augusta University IS REQUIRED to attend a Dual Enrollment meeting, immediately following the 7:30 scheduling meeting, even if your student is currently enrolled in Dual Enrollment.
